Ex Club Owner Indicted For Murder
Portland, Oregon - Former Starry Night Club owner, Larry Hurowitz was indicted on 5 counts of murder in the disappearance of Tim Moreau. It all centered around a ticket scam at a John Lee Hooker concert. Apparently, there were alot more tickets sold than there should have been. Hurowitz claimed he was about to confront Moreau when he vanished. A few days later Moreau's car was found abandon at PDX airport. The FBI was brought in on the case. Moreau's disappearance has remained a mystery here in Portland for 9 years. Some people nicknamed the former owner "Scary Larry" and called the club the "Scary Night Club". Hurowitz had since moved to Vietnam, promoting concerts there. The club is now owned by David Liken and called "The Roseland". Hurowitz was always considered a suspect in the myterious disappearance, but there just was not enough evidence, and no body was ever found. This past summer, the authorities were able to have him extradicted to Oregon on charges of tax evasion. Since then, Hurowitz's former assistant and stage manager, George Castignola, was tape recorded by a former girlfriend (talking about the story). Castignola was arrested, indicted, and plea bargained, agreeing to testify against Hurowitz. Castignola also agreed to show authorities where Moreau's body was buried in the Columbia Gorge area near Stevenson, Washington. For his part, Castignola will receive 10 years. With A Little Help From My Friends
Portland, Oregon - Vibroworld.com experienced a MAJOR computer crash over the weekend of November 21st. Zack said "While swapping to some new hard drives, one was formated by mistake." As BAD luck would have it, the hard drive with Email and some JPEGs of Magnatone Amps was lost completely. A special thanks goes to Bill and DOS for renaming one of our drives without our consent. So consequently, ALL Email and JPEGs received prior to November 21st were lost. If you sent us Email with JPEGs and have not received a reply nor seen your photo published, please send it again. We apologize for this inconvenience. - Zack
