Bazillions Of Brasillions
In a place like Brasil, you think of great coffee, beautiful beaches, beautiful women, great food, a tourist paradise. Well, think again. They must export the best coffee, the beaches are polluted, there is a danger of cholera and malaria, tourists are in danger unless they know the language or have someone with them that does, and not all the beautiful women are really women!
Local wealthy Brasilians are in danger of being kidnapped and if they happen to be the promoter, the show does not go on. Not all is lost though, the food is great. Brasil does live up to its name as far as partying all night, late starting shows (1AM), and more "liberated" TV shows, such as the host that wrestled a pretty woman in a "bowl" of soapy water to get a bar of soap.
So what if you don't understand what they're saying or why they're doing it.... it's entertainment.
The Brasilians love Robert and his music. TV shows, newspaper articles, and packed houses are the reason we're here. There must have been a Bazillion Brasilians!
Now back to the good stuff: TECH TIP: Learn how to count in binary code so you can help out the lighting guys to convert DMX to Scan Master.
I don't have a tip, however, to explain or keep certain lighting guys from removing the gel frames every night from the par cans. I can tell you that this makes for a lot more work the next day and totally frustrates your lighting director.
HEY! What a great ROAD TRICK! Well thats all for now. It's spring and I'm going fishing for chinook salmon in the Northwest. See you later!
