Twilighter Model 213R
In the summer of ' 97, Paul Cebar was opening for Robert Cray and I noticed this amp sitting with their gear at load-in. Closer inspection revealed a Magnatone in disguise, the Twilighter 213R. Made by Lo Duca Bros., Milwaukie, Wisconson, this amp has 2 channels (each with high & low gain), A and B Loudness, Mellow-Normal-Bright switch, Tone control, Vibrato Speed and Intensity adjust, and a Reverb Depth control. I don't have a schematice for this amp, but it's basically a Magnatone Model 440 both in cosmetics and tube compliment. Twilighter 213R control panelHere's the tube line-up: A 12AX7 is used for the pre-amp, a 12AU7 is used in the vibrato circuits with half a 12AX7 for the oscillator. Reverb is handled by a 6DR7. Half a 12AX7 for phase inversion into twin 6V6GT power tubes. Output transformer numbers: 6107-606-2-03, One 12" Oxford speaker #12K5R-7. Rectifier tube is the small 6CA4.
