Jeff Morris sent these photos of his Titano 262R. Made in 1962 at the Torrance, California plant after Magnatone merged with Estey, this amp is similar to the 260A. It has 2 channels each with high & low inputs, plus a stereo input. Both channels are preamp'd by a 12AX7 dual triode and have a mellow/bright switch and bass, treble and volume controls. Channel 2 is sent to the reverb driver and vibrato circuits. A 6DR7 dual triode drives a set of reverb springs and is recovered by a 6EU7 dual triode. The reverb control operates like a pan network, panning between dry and reverb signals. Another half of a 12AX7 dual triode developes the LFO (low frequency oscillator) for the pitch shifters. The other half is for the phase inversion. Two dual triode 6CG7's create the pitch shift for that coool Magnatone vibrato. 6L6GC beam power tubes drive the output transformer. My schematic shows two 8-ohm, 12-inch speakers and two 8-ohm tweeters. High voltage DC is rectified by a 5U4GB.
Approx. 40 Watts
