PANaramic Model 440

Jeff sent this photo of his PANaramic 440, manufactured by Estey for the Ernest F. Deffner Co. of Long Island New York. Jeff has been in contact with them and has told me this amp was a companion to their "PANcordion" accordions. It has two channels, marked A & B, each with high & low gain and a loudness control. There is a tone and a reverb depth control for both channels, as well as vibrato speed & depth control. Foot-switch jacks for vibrato & reverb and also remote speaker. Sorry no schematic, Email me if you have more info. The tubes are: 2-12AX7, 12AU7, 6EU7, 6DR7, 6CA4 and twin 6V6 power tubes. The speaker is an Oxford 12-inch Alnico (code: 25-1009). Jeff says "......Besides being in new condition, it has one of the sweetest clean sounds transitioning into a gradual, very musical and rich break-up. The reverb is decidely un-Fender, sounding more like natural reverb....."Model 440 control panel
