PA 300

This photo of the PA 300 is from Chris Martin. The PA 300 complete PA system is one of the earliest portable PA systems. It is part of Magnatone's Brute Sound of solid state amps from the late 1960's. They claimed a very low distortion of 4%. It consisted of a MC 100, all transistor design master control unit with 6 inputs and a pair of PAS 150 Power Towers. The power amps are built in to the speaker cabinets. The cabinet also has four ducted-ports for extended low frequency response. The cabinets have a removable grill with the speakers mounted from the front and recessed pocket handles built in. These cabinets have the Magnatone "Exclusive Profile" that was specially designed to fit in a car trunk. Weight: 205-lbs.

Accessories (Optional): CP-150 Vinyl cover for each cabinet

Serial Numbers: MC 100: 1202; PAS 150: 1352 and 1385
