The Model M-8 is from "The Custom Line". It has two channels (each with high and low gain inputs). A 7025 preamp tube takes care of the the "Loudness" and the "Tone" controls. Channel two has a rotating selector for "mellow", "normal", and "bright". The M-8 has a single 12AU7 pitch-shift circuit for vibrato, and while it doesn't sound as intense as an M10 or an M15, it still has the fantastic Magnatone vibrato sound. Another 12AU7 takes care of the reverb send. A 7025 recovers the gain lost in the reverb circuits then into half a 12AU7 phase inverter. Twin 7189A power tubes drive the output transformer and a 12 in. 8ohm speaker. The original list price was $310.00.
