| The "Victory" Model Custom 460 was introduced in early 1962. This is a great amp. Channel 1 has high & low gain inputs, treble and bass controls, normal-mellow switch. Channel 2 has high & low gain inputs, treble and bass controls, normal-bright switch, with added Vibrato controls. A 6EU7 is used in the 1st preamp stage in both channels. Channel 1 uses a 12AX7 for the next gain stage, but channel 2 uses a 6DR7 to drive the reverb. Standard 12AX7 low freqency oscillator drives the, 6CG7 / 6FQ7 phase shifters, creating that real cool magnatone vibrato sound. There is also a "Stereo" (TRS) jack, in addition to the vibrato on-off, reverb on-off, and a remote speaker jacks. Half a 12AX7, for the phase inverter, drives twin 6L6GC beam power tubes.

Output transformer number 6108 (date code: 606142). This drives two, 8 ohm, 12": Oxford 12K5R-7 (date code:465-138) speakers and two 5" x 7" oval midrange (4608 on the frame) speakers. Power supply consist of a power switch, 3a Slo-Blo fuse, neon pilot-lite, standby switch, and an anti-hum switch. The power transformer number is 20-0004 (date code:606142).
