Here is a Custom 280 Double V, from Robert Cray's collection. Notice the different style and grid pattern in the background on the nameplate (nameplate has gridwork, "Behind Version") vs the 280-A and 260-A models, that have their nameplate is in front of the grill cloth on an overhang. Models like this one, built at the Inglewood location, had their nameplates set into the grill with an extra piece for the overhang. Here are the specifics: Power supply transformer #4410 (manufacturer's EIA date code: 606747, meaning the 47th week of 1957). Two output transformers #4411 (manufacturer's EIA date code: 606812, meaning the 12th week of 1958). 137-839 Sample pot date (39th week of 1958). Inglewood, CA on control panel. Two 12" speakers: 4605 on Magnet, model 12L5N-1, cone Approx. 50 watts.
