I found this Model 260 across the street at my neighbor's house. After some negotiating, I traded Robert's '87 Fender Champ 12 for it. Notice the different style and grid pattern in the background on the nameplate vs the 280-A and 260-A models, that have their nameplate is in front of the grill cloth with an overhang. Models built at the Inglewood location had their nameplates set into the grill with an extra piece for the overhang. The 260 has 2 inputs, one with vibrato, and 12AX7 tube for the pre-amps. It uses 6CG7's in the vibrato circuit followed by 1/2 a 12AX7 for phase inversion. Power is supplied by two 5881's into two 12 inch Oxford speakers. Dimensions: 25" Wide. 9" Deep. 20" High. Weight 46 lbs. Original catalog price was $295.00.
