Starlet 107

The Starlet Model 107 is a very simple class A amplifier. 2 Instrument inputs, 3 Tubes, and 8" permanent magnet Speaker. A 12AX7 is used for the preamp and 50L6 (that puts out a wopping 3.8-watts) for the power tube. The only control is a volume/on-off control. No power supply transformer, only a small output transformer. A 35Z5 is used for DC rectification. I found this model 107 at Taylors Music in Memphis Tennessee while checking for possible acquisitions. Back View Starlet 107 Heavy Duty leatherette covering and a slanted speaker baffle. Original list price in 1957 was $59.50
